The examination scheme for level 6 Anusandhan Adhikrit is in four phase. 1st phase is General Knowledge and General Ability Test of 100 marks and 1 hour 30 minutes time period. 2nd phase is written examination and it is divided in two papers first paper is about Management, Diplomacy, Law and Language Related of 100 marks and 3 hours time period. Second paper is about service related and it is also of 100 marks and 3 hours time period. 3rd phase is Medical test and 4th phase is Psychological (TAT, WAT and SDT) of 20 marks and it is written exercise, Group Test of 10 marks, Presentation of 10 marks and Interview is of 40 marks. Those candidate who are selected in Medical test or 3rd phase can only enter in 4th phase examination.

The examination scheme for level 5 Anusandhan Sahayek is in three phase. 1st phase is General Ability and Aptitude Test of 100 marks and 1 hour 15 minutes time period. 2nd phase is written examination and it is divided in two papers first paper is about Nepali English and Math Related of 100 marks and 2 hours 30 minutes time period. Second paper is about General Knowledge and Current Affairs related and it is also of 100 marks and 2 hours 30 minutes time period Medical test is also in 2nd phase and 3rd phase is Interview is of 40 marks. Those candidate who are selected in Medical test or 3rd phase can only enter in 4th phase examination.

The candidate who has been selected from the written examination are eligible for an interview.
