Nagarik Uddyan Pradhikaran /Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) Syllabus of All Level Civil Engineering Group

In the syllabus of CAAN all level civil engineering group the examination is divided in two phase written and interview. Written examination is of 200 marks which is in two papers first paper and second paper. Interview is oral of 30 marks, it is only for those who has been selected from written examination. In Civil Engineering group there are syllabus from level 5 to level 11. Medium of examination is Nepali, English and both. The syllabus is for open and internal competitive examination.

For 5th level of civil engineering- first paper is general knowledge, general ability test and subject related, it multiple choice question of 45 minutes time period. second paper is service related, subjective question of 3 hours time period.

For level 6 open and internal - first paper is objective and subjective about general knowledge and management, 45 minutes time for objective and 1 hour 30 minutes for subjective question. Second paper is about service related and it's time period is 3 hours which is subjective type questions.

For level 6 internal for Draftsman and surveyor - first paper is about general knowledge, administration , management and law, time period for it is 2 hours. second paper is subjective time period for it is 2 hours 30 minutes.

For level 7 civil - first paper is general knowledge, general ability test and service related, it multiple choice question of 45 minutes time period. second paper is service related, subjective question of 3 hours time period.

For level 7 architect - first paper is general knowledge (objective), administration, management and law (subjective), 2 hour time period. second paper is service related (logical problem solving) 2 hours 30 minutes time period.

For level 8 civil - first paper is about administration and management, time period for it is 3 hours and it is subjective . Second paper is about service related, subjective questions time period 3hours.

For level 9 civil - first paper is about management and law, time period for it is 3 hours and it is subjective (problem solving). Second paper is about service related, subjective questions (problem solving) time period 3hours.

For level 10 civil - Same as level 9.

For level 11 civil - first paper is about management and law, time period for it is 3 hours and it is subjective (logical analytical and problem solving). Second paper is about service related, subjective questions (logical, analytical and problem solving) time period 3hours.For more download from the list.

The candidate who has been selected from the written examination are eligible for an interview.
